Friday, May 29 – SKIPPER & CREWS MEET & GREET
- Charleston Yacht Club, 27 Lockwood Dr, Charleston, SC
- Active-duty Military and Veterans check-in 1730 – 1930 (registration & shirt pick up)
- Meet skippers and find out where the boat is docked and departure time for Saturday
- Sailing “What to Expect” 1815-1900
SATURDAY, May 30 – REGATTA DAY!
- Racing Starts at 1300 in front of Waterfront Park, Downtown Charleston
- Estimated End of Race 1500
REGATTA SPECTATOR BOAT – The Charleston Princess
- The Charleston Princess will be docked at Seabreeze Marina, 49 Immigration St, Charleston, SC 29403
- There is ample parking
- Reservations are required
- Tickets for Veterans and Active Duty Military are Free!
- Tickets for Guests and CORA members $15
- Tickets for children 12 years of age or under Free
- Tickets for Civilians $35
- Check in begins at 1200, Boarding at 1215, Departure at 1230
- View Racing from 1245 – 1500, estimated return to dock 1530
REGATTA AWARDS PARTY @ Charleston Yacht Club, 27 Lockwood Drive, Charleston, SC
- All are invited to this event!
- Casual race attire, with indoor / outdoor seating, ticket needed for dinner buffet, drinks will be available for purchase and/or provided by sponsors.
- Check-In Opens at 1600
- All American Buffet Dinner ($35.00) 1630 – 1830
- Awards Presentation 1730 with Team Photo Ops
- Music provided by DJ Ron Swain
Parking is available (ticketed) at the Safe Harbor City Marina lot for the Skipper & Crew Meeting Friday night. Parking will be limited on Saturday for the awards dinner (due to a weekend activity in Safe Harbor Marina) and we highly recommend carpooling or parking at the offsite lot.
Coastal Limo is providing two 14 passenger shuttle vans to run between the free auxiliary VA lot at 39 Folly Rd Blvd (by Porter Gaud) and 27 Lockwood Drive (ChYC) from 3pm to 9pm on Saturday. It’s a 5 minute ride and they will be continually running. For those racing out of City Marina, you can park at the VA lot all day for free and carpool in then take the shuttle back.
PLEASE NOTE: All event venues are non-smoking. Awards party is rain or shine.
